ABOUT

Theatre Mangager, Director, Writer, Creative Producer

Originally from Yorkshire, I have bases in Hertfordshire, Yorkshire, Cheshire, the North East, and London. Inspired by telling truthful and powerful stories, my work is firmly based in exploring the extraordinary everyday.

As a Theatre Manager, I am committed to programming quality work that our audience will enjoy, creating memorable experiences for all ages. I also believe in the safe day to day running of venues, and supporting and facilitating the amazing colleagues I have the pleasure to work alongside.

As a Director I have worked professionally running my own theatre company, Piccolo, as well as assistant directing main house productions. I have ran directing workshops for schools, youth groups and universities.

As a Writer, I was awarded the Charlie Hartill Theatre Reserve for Screen 9 where it became a sellout show in 2021 garnering 5-star reviews and interest in publication.

As a Producer, I have experience of leading teams, programming, festival organisation, successful Arts Council England grants, city of culture consultancy, theatre renovations, running a virtual theatre during covid (!) and managing budgets from £8,000 for an R&D to £2,500,000 for the performing arts department and buildings.
